History

The history of the property is rich. The Copper Swan has enjoyed a legacy of long ownership, originally as The Holiday House (1930’s-1980), and subsequently as The Inn at Duck Creeke (1980-2015) until the recent transition to new ownership. Prior to offering guest accommodations, the property operated as a true Captain’s house and subsequently was the family residence of the Price family. The buildings were added to the property at different points in time, with most historic dating back to the 1700’s.
